If ever I were to be tempted to doubt the efficacy of prayer, I have to say that in future I will remember that today I was able to celebrate a public Sunday Mass for the first time since January. It wasn't easy, but I got there, by God's grace. I plan to celebrate public Masses again three times this week. This is a dramatic change, and the only change in my behaviour has been to write the last post and (because they proved no use) to reduce my meds.
God bless and reward those of you who have prayed for me. I will offer my Mass tomorrow for your intentions.
Please add my name to your bede-roll, Father, as you have been in my prayers. Very best wishes from one (of the many) who owes you much.

ReplyDeleteExcellent news, Fr. Fingers crossed (oops - shouldn't say that here - but you get the gist, I hope).
ReplyDeleteDear father, so glad you are feeling a little better. Do persevere with trying to find the medication which is right for you though - psychtrophic meds aren't like penicillan, one type fits all. It took a close relative of mine years to find the medication which was right for him.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to hear of your improvement. Maybe the prayers of this Anglican priest have helped. We will continue to pray.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, father.
