:-D Sunday I mentioned to the "Sainted Father S." that quite a few young adults and young children attend the EF form of the Mass.

and he said soemthing along the lines of "I'm not surprised, the young are always attracted to the 'new'"

He agreed with me that the "young" would be as attracted to dead hippy twaddle [I WAS going to use a different word] as much as I would have been to a Marching kazoo band.

Although, come to think of if the kazoo band would be more honest in that it wouldn't even pretend to be serious, unlike the stuff that was foisted on us in the 70s and 80s and hasn't rolled over and died yet -- unfortunately alive and well in too many parishes where the pastor is in his 70s or 60s.

Apologies dear Father for missing this one. Belated congratulations and assurances of my prayers for you at the altar. By all accounts a beautiful celebration to the glory of Almighty God.

Warmest congratulations, Father. I was disconcerted to see that you have purchased from Mr Luzar the same white High Mass set as is used in my parish. People will confuse us even more now!
