21 today

21 years ago today, the then Bishop Cormac Murphy-O'Connor ordained me a priest in the church of St Anne, Banstead. How the time flies! And yet the priest who baptized me in the same church nearly half a century ago, Fr Brendan Burke, is still fit and in active ministry.

Congratulations Fr Seán , Ad Multos Anos!

I was a fairly new Catholic in 1989and not much involved in the parish yet.

Thank you for the photo. I can spot a few changes in the church although we're back to the wooden flooring again now, thank goodness.

We're celebrating the 75th Anniversary of St Ann's Church next year. Maybe you'll be able to come along and meet a few old friends.
