Someone told me that if you go to traditional parishes in France (like St. Nicolas du Chardonnet) it seems the custom to stand at Benediction.
I also heard that in the pre-liturgical deform days in Spain, that people used to stand after the elevations for the rest of the canon - although I don't know how true this is.

A pity the faithful are standing up at the end for Benediction. Everything else looks rather traddie.
